I think arsenal wills surprizingly will do well this year, i can't see city team blending together this season. what formation will they play? surely they can't play with one centre foward like last season with 3 top strikers. where would robino fit with 4-4-2? left wing

Robinho will fit on left wing and Tevez on the right, up front alone will probably be Adebayor.

personally think it's too big a job for Hughes , too many egos , too much expectation , too much pressure , too many players to juggle , too many options .... we'll see , think someone once said it's a funny old game

Interesting... I hope Delph stays at Leeds, nothing against City but he will get lots of first team football at Leeds at City he'll probably be just left on the bench or playing for the reserves. He's got a big decision whether he leaves Leeds or goes to a PL club thats for sure.

Evening all Back from day 1 of Emirates cup. Rangers beat PSG 1-0, match wasn't all that, PSG played mainly on the counter. The biggest fun was watching the huge amount of Rangers fans in the away end. Blimey they love to sing - and bizarrely to bounce up and down a lot Arsenal beat Atletico Madrid 2-1, all three goals very late on. We were a bit stuttery but were better in the second half Arshavin though - what a talent. I am so delighted to say I was wrong about him. I really thought that he wouldn't settle and would be an expensive sub. Arsene knows, that's for sure

Evening Meaty They were really good natured and friendly on the tube and everywhere we met them but they were cheering against us in the second match ( well the ones that bothered to stay were anyway) Tbh I thought they were quite good fun but one thing I can't stand is all that Proddy boy Loyalist Sectarian crap. They are well known for a section of them having links with the BNP etc They were singing and chanting it every so often today - nothing offensive as such but imo there is no place for any kind of intolerence or bigotry in football.

aliadere 26 now and hasn't scored 10 league goals in his career yet lol. I think our back 4 is good, maybe we need to sign one centre midfielder

You've gotta love Newcastle.... they wait a decade for a half decent centre back, and when they finally get one, they hype him to the moon... The guy is average, no way worth £10m, but because the Geordies have had to put up with the likes of Titus Bramble, he seems like the messiah...
