City have had alot of games on tv lately, of all days they choose not to show televise the game they choose one of the biggest... Chelsea v City will be on tv though next week.

Thursday night still doesn't really register with me as being a football night - so i don't always take into consideration that some of the Sunday fixtures are simply rescheduled Saturday fixtures. However, it still would have been my preferred choice of viewing... lol

No matter! Bremen v Leverkusen has just started on ESPN.

I bet you can't. There's nothing better than a live game.

£500m of players on that field today

Neither side could even keep hold of the ball.

wolfsburg won bundasliga last yr didnt they. why du support bayern? i no ther top now but they stil mite not win it the league this yr
They were unable to beat their fellow Bavarian cheats Nuremburg.
Alas! Home of Aspirin Leverkusen, couldn't beat Bremen. Thus Leverkusen remain top on GD.

Pompey are going to enter administration on Friday unless a new owner is secured.

I imagine a few Wolves, Burnley and Hull fans will be upset with this news, as they've been pinning their hopes on Bolton and West Ham losing the points they took from Pompey were they to go out of business...

Afternoon all

Good for Portsmouth - if it keeps the club afloat until a more responsible owner can be found then so be it.
The PL need to take full responsibility for their part in this whole sorry mess. Fit and Proper persons test my butt.
Some of the talk on the Arsenal forums was that we should sue the PL if Portsmouth were dissolved as we would lose 6 points and it is mainly down to their lax regulations that Portsmouth were allowed to keep changing one unsuitable owner for another The PL has been a shambles in the way they just look to the profit of the brand never mind the fact that they let owners like the Glazers come in and rape clubs like Man U

You know it isn't going to be a good night when your goalkeeper kicks the ball in his own net...

LOL Disley, I didn't know we'd loaned you Fabianski.
Can we interest you in Sol Campbell too by any chance.........

3-0 to Spurs.... and Bolton scored 2 of them. Sigh.

Stoke/ Man City sounds tasty - Adebayor has just got a straight red for summat and Bellamy has been booked for running his mouth pmsl
Neil Warnock is apparently furious as Aston Villa got another goal from a decision that the ref got wrong!

Playing Stoke is like playing american football... stop/start game, bloody boring and delap takes forever to take a throw in

As for the ref, effing corrupt

Straight red for Ade when he was trying to shrug off Huth, accidental slap just below his face... piss poor decision.

EDIT: Huth just done the same... no action taken.

I'd honestly rather have a season ticket at Darlington than Stoke, no joke.

How anyone can pay to watch that kind of stuff every week is beyond me.

No doubt Darlo will be a happy boy tonight. His Inter won.

But having just watched the whole match, i still stand by what I said after the Milan derby... Inter are the luckiest team in the world. Apart from Sneijder and Eto'o, they are an ugly side and to me represent a slightly more talented version of Blackburn Rovers. Garbage.

3-1 to Stoke atm... we probably deserve that result aswell. To be fair crunchy, our tactics are just as boring... crap defensive italian football. Getting rid of Hughes is gonna come back and bite us on the arse.

Chelsea
Spurs
Sunderland
Fulham
Wigan
Burnley
Brum
Rags
Arse
Villa
Wet Sham

Gonna be tough the remainder of the season.

I rather play the academy players who actually want to play for us than most of these effing mercenaries. I rather play without a forward then crocky santa cruz aswell...

Think it was the right decision. Hughes was taking the club no where.

Appointing Mancini on the other hand, not sure that was the right decision. I would have went for Hiddink.

I honestly think Warnock would have done a good job... even if we lose at least he has some passion.

It's always someone elses fault with Warnock. Championship manager at best, not even a great one imo.

How much do you want to pay?

Do you have a season ticket at Darlo?

Wayne has made himself unavailable for the world cup... should be a cracking game this weekend then against Chelsea

...thats if any of our players decide to show up

Since the early seventies. I hardly ever go but it seems disloyal to stop it.

Pompey are to go into administration tomorrow, meaning they will suffer a 9 point deduction and all but confirm their relegation...

Why don't you go? I had one at Carlisle in the 03/04 season where we had 5 points by xmas and ended up going down to the conference. The following season i renewed it as well and although there were some tinpot sheds to visit in that league, it was an enjoyable time getting promotion straight back up.

Why are Everton such bottlers in Europe? They should be seeing off sides like Sporting Lisbon no problem over 2 legs. Again, absolutely terrified of their opposition tonight. They'd lost before they even stepped out. It's so weird how they can beat 2 of the top sides in europe within the last couple of weeks by attacking them and going for the kill, but when it comes to a team with inferior quality players like Sporting, absolutely choke. I dunno what Moyes has been telling them but he should have been drumming it into them that maybe 2 of the Sporting players would get a look in at Everton, nothing more.

No I was more happy about the Stacey and Max EE news in the day. Going back on topic yeah i'm happy Inter won because they have been so disappointing in the CL for ages now but they got the win.. Chelski still got every chance of going through with the home game if they want to make sure that Inter again exit at this stage for another year.

Shame about Pompey. Everton well beaten tonight, Sporting played well they're not a bad side.. well done to Liverpool and Fulham too.

Mainly because I don't like the new ground. Yes! We also went down to the conference. That was a really good season!! I also visited loads of new grounds and I shall probably do the same next season. I also have a season ticket at the Riverside and I don't have as many free weeks but as soon as m'Grandson is a year older we'll probably go to 'em all.

Been to your ground once in 2006 and I liked it.

what an absolute shower of shite on that field last night
wouldn't mind them carry on with that sort of form on Sunday      I think it was the late goal in the first game that chage the game plan, SL are having a stinking season in the league, I thought Everton should of been more than capable of going through, but they needed to score,   Watching last night, it wasn't going to happen.

It sounds like Cahill might be back around Easter, which is good, as I don't think I could take much more of the comedians that the defence turn into without him in the side...

Bloody Yeovil the other night.

Albion can focus on the league now.

Everton have a good record at WHL over the passed few years, a result like Everton had last night can work for them, via a kick up the  , or could have a negative effect I guess "fingers crossed smiley"
