Oh! I hope Barcelona win for you then.
I hope Barca win, but Inter were so good as Chelsea, if only by stopping Chelsea play, I wouldn't be suprised to see the same happen tonight.

I can't see how Inter v Bayern could possibly be any more boring than the Juventus v AC Milan final at Old Trafford.

Anyway, complaining about boring finals is a bit silly really, they very rarely live up to the hype. For example, the last few FA Cup finals since the Liverpool v West Ham one have been complete snoozefests for neutrals...

I want Inter to win if they get through tonight.

Darlo I honestly don't know how you can support/be a fan of this team! Every match I've seen them, all they do is make the game ugly with their anti-football tactics. How can anyone other than Inter born and breds support this crap!?

That goal should have stood.

That penalty in the first leg should have been given.

Inter's 3rd goal was offside in the first leg.

Lucky lucky Mourinho

Mourinho proving what a c*** he is at the end there.

Darlo I hope your beloved cloggers get their arses raped by Bayern. Absolute scum!

What do you want Munich to win for? That would be like someone saying that they wanted Chelsea to win the League, Real Madrid to win the Champion's League, or Hartlepool to win Division One. If Mourinho's bunch are as thuggish as you say then I hope that they kick the cheating Bavarians off the pitch.

This week I am mostly bemused with regards to calls for Ledley "I can't play two games in a week" King to go to the World Cup, where he'd be expected to play three games in 11 days... and that's just the group stage.

Yes I saw this in the Grauniad (  checks for squiggle ) Apparently his knee needs six days to recover after one game.  I suppose it's all up to the manager and he'll keep it under his hat.

I guess the thinking is what you get when he does play.  What scares me is not the issue of not being able to play more than 1 game a week, (if only)  it's the being out for 3 months at a time.  Although the talk of King going, doesn't scare me as much as the talk of Campbell going.

While I'm on a rant about centre backs I don't think Upson should go either.

Terry, Ferdinand, Dawson and Jagielka for me... If Cahill had not had all his blood clot problems I'd (admittedly with a hint of bias) put him ahead of Jagielka, but I reckon after all that he'll get his chance in the Euro qualifiers..

I'm starting to think Dawson can make the squad, When he was first mentioned I didn't think he stood a change, a case of 'Arry bigin him up, He's played well since Christmas.

Dawson ahead of Upson, definitely. Although Upson has apparently been saying he's 'confident' he'll be number one choice alongside Terry if Ferdinand isn't fit.

I wonder if he watches play backs of his clubs games.  at times this season he has been terrible, like wise Green in goal.

I was helping the Grandson with his Panini album last night and I don't recall seeing Ledley King. So we must assume he's not going.

Here you go Joe, Cut out & Keep....

So much for my wish for Liverpool v HSV.
I've had everything wrong this season.

Maine Road as it was then
Cockneys with fear in their eyes
Looking for black cabs in Moss Side
Proper football you know total football
Pie and a pint not a prawn sandwich in sight
It was a time when players fought for the badge not for the money
They were good men
Good honest family men
We stood on those terraces
Man and boy, hand in hand, you and me
We can do it again son

Seasiders in play-offs. Gwan the underdogs

Chelsea are almost there!

Come on Sunderland!

Man Utd toughed it out for a win at Sunderland... it's all to play for on the final day!

Next week will be interetsing in Div 1....any oeof 2nd to 6th place could get the 2nd automatic promoton spot.

And..Millwall are on the Kit-Kat ad!!

Certainly is, through gritted teeth congratulations to you guys but at least we pushed all the way and considering playing half of the season with the defence injured and various other problems second is good.

Sheffield Wednesday down then.. glad Blackpool in the play offs which I hope Forest win or if they don't then Cardiff.

Wednesday will be interesting for who gets 4th.

Ooh yes was interesting with the twist and turns yesterday on Soccer Saturday, good luck to all it's so tight.

I'm just glad Swansea didn't get into the play-offs. Imagine if they'd met Cardiff at Wembley - a trail of mayhem and destruction from the Severn Tunnel to North London and back..

Me too, ha ha they would need the riot vans.

Steve McClaren 'speaking' Dutch on the news just now

One's heart goes out to the poor Enschede fans. It must have been terrible we had him for  several seasons. If he had won the Champions League it wouldn't have made one's football experience any less boring.
Meanwhile after a season of domestic disaster in every direction the only good news comes from The Fatherland. St Pauli are definitely promoted and the 69ers should avoid relegation.

Because FC Twunt have won the Dutch league
Was it Dutch, or was it English with a Dutch accent?

English with a very bad Dutch accent

Bloke's a cast iron loon..

OMG Deman

I see Fulham have been taking lessons from the Phil Gartside guidebook on how to annoy season ticket holders with their '4 tickets per season ticket' for the Europa League Final. They have an allocation of less than 13,000 and 10,000 season ticket holders...

Someone doesn't know how to work a calculator...

I thought the stadium held nearly 75,000 fans, Why have Fulham been given such a small allocation of tickets.

Good luck tonight RZB! Hope you beat Citeh...Good news that Gomez is in goal eh..

Well, UEFA have to get 20,000 officials into the game somehow...

Dear oh dead... tax evasion and now this.

Stupid cnut

Well done spurs, on the overall season spurs probably deserved the champions league spot more. We still lack creativity, don't want to see mancini sacked but his tactics are too defensive for us.  Il settle for fifth... and im certain we will bag a spot in the champions league.

Now will the clown Harry Redknapp actually take european competition seriously unlike last time (UEFA Cup I know) where he put weakened teams out to concentrate on the 'bread and butter' as he put it?

It hurts me to say it but... well done Spurs!

Their end of season run-in looked to be mission impossible but they were outstanding - and showed toughness and character in vital away games such as the one tonight.
