Is there some streak of puritanism in GaGaJoyJoy, that won't allow people to have what they want. Most folk just want to read and post on a forum. Well said Maggie

That's a bit harsh, Paace. I'll admit I was (and am) a bit dismayed by this move; but on reflection, I'm sure that the Gaga team have made this decision for sound business reasons, and they feel that it's the best thing for these forums. It's their business, after all. We owe them a debt of gratitude, at least - they didn't have to take us in and create a home for us when C4 threw us out, but they did - and they don't owe us anything. We can either accept this move, enjoy it (or just make the best of it)...or we can just walk away, no worse off than we were in April.

Posting error seems to be fixed now Page numbering works too.. Smiley insertion position problem seems to occur with IE7 on XP but not Firefox 3.5.2 on XP... Oh and Firefox spellchecker is now enabled by default... this is a good thing Edit : And the alert triangle only shows for pending alerts Z.

Yes, there was a bug fix released. Let us know if you encounter other errors (or the same errors, even )

Hi Lori
Has the smiley and IE7 problem been fixed?
Oh and don't know if you have read this elsewhere but is there any chance you could delay flicking the big gaga->LiveCloud switch until a bit after the end of Big Brother here.. sometime later than September the 4th I believe.. just a few days to let the dust settle
Z.

Hi, Z: I've looked in our bug system, but I can't tell. I'll have to ask someone.... About waiting: I think we can probably manage that--I'll pass that on!

Sure... using IE7 clicking on a smiley would always put it at the start of the post and not the current cursor location. I confirmed this myself this morning but, given the time zone difference, it may have been fixed along with the other issues that have been sorted. Z.

I had my OH test this (poor dear), and it seems it's not fixed. I'll bring it to the attention of the proper authorities.
