My Stacks are overflowing at line 4724, I'm on IE7 Confused

When I try to login I keep getting the message "Stacks overflow at line 11". I know it will be sorted out eventually but mentioning it as feedback so you know what some of us, or me, are experiencing atm

I'm hoping you are kidding Essex, but I can't QUITE tell. Confused

You won't be parted. The whole stack trace error is related to the fact that you are both using Internet Explorer 6. You wouldn't get it on Firefox or a later version of Internet Explorer. Further, we're working on a fix so you don't get it even if you don't want to change/update browsers. Smiler

Lori, I'm on IE7, I haven't tried Mozzy ( firefox) yet.
I'm just nervous about losing you guy's. Frowner Hug

just checking that i'm intact

When this board migrates into LiveCloud, it will look similar, and will have similar features, similar smilies, etc. It will also be admin/modded by the same "crowd" as this board Smiler After all, LiveCloud is us.

just keepcalm and dont panic - do what you can - you'll be just fine, I am sure it'll take a wee bit of time maybe ,but its worth the wait - dont worry Rosemary Hug x

Just trying to see whether I'm here or not

So...excuse me if I'm fick....but if I want to go to Live Cloud....do I just click on the logo at the top right of the page? Do I have to do anything else?

I am using IE8 and am getting the stack overflow messages but at line 10.

Also, as others have found out, when you post a message on Livecloud, you get a long error message. The message dosen't appear to have been posted but if you do a refresh you will see that the message has been posted. This has been reported on Livecloud.

Mine are overflowing at line 11 as well when I use IE6, but on Firefox I'm OK.
Also sometimes I'n getting a message about a script making IE run slow.

When i click on LiveCloud it is asking my password then saying it isnt the same as the one registered? I asked for email with password and put in that one, but it says it isnt that one !!!???? I am getting stack overflow at line 10 ?

I go through the motions on Live Cloud...it logs me in......and then nothing...just the sign in page Frowner

Valentine Thank you EA for your lovely message which made me do this Blush

I'm hoping I and others don't get lost along the way but I trust the Management can sort it all out. You're on DS? Eeker that place scares the heck out of me lol Crazy

lol Olly I've just noticed your title. Suits you. Wink

Lori, in reply to me on another page you suggested I have IE 6 and that's the cause of the problem. I upgraded to 7 recently - before the new changeover, if that helps.

If we are going to have to get the 'cloud format imposed on us I consider it a backward step... how can I put this... I know... succinctly... the format 'over there' even once the posting and stack overflow bugs are sorted... is a heap of shit compared to this one

I do hope you will all be patient about the upcoming move. We've only done the first step for you thus far: moving the registration system. Hang tight for the rest of it. If you give it a chance, you might like it. Remember that you'll still have the community--the rest of the format you only have to use if you want to!

To those of you with login problems: You can still log in HERE, apparently (since you are posting). We'll have a look at the login problems you are experiencing over there early next week, OK?

To those of you with the stack trace errors: I was told it was restricted to IE6, but it looks like that isn't necessarily so. Note that we are still working on the fix for that, so please be patient! Once we fix the KNOWN error, we'll find out if it's still happening on other browsers and versions.

Let's see...did I leave out anything?

I know change can be hard... Hug

Hi Lori..
Kaytee can't get in here, she was blipped out of both places and now cannot get back in here..it keeps saying loggin failed even though its the loggin reminder GaGa sent her..

I keep getting "page unavailable" and error messages. I'm about 2 seconds away from giving up

Firstly it told me some sort of error message then it told me page unavailable. When I did get in it told my the ID Cagney was available then it was my postcode that was wrong. Wrong format or something. Then it went through and it was page unavailable again. Went back and it asked for an ID again. Cagney was now unavailable. Asked for the correct format postcode again. Then it was another error message.

I used the link Croc posted on page 5 and this is the message I get....

Error
The page you requested is not available. Reference ID: 112321536424943021[-1106979765][1608765659]fusion.1.r6947.b474-livecloud.ps001

But at the side now it's saying I'm logged in Confused

Change can also be unnecessary.

Out of interest as I may have missed this part of the announcement. Why are we having to change?

I emailed Kaytee, stonks. Thanks for the heads-up!

Cagney. I see you are able to post. Does that mean that you have to keep trying in order to get in? What are you using for a browser?

I'm using IE7 and yep everytime I click on something I get the page unavailable message I posted above. I am logged in though which is more than I was 10 mins ago Big Grin

Thankyou Lori and there is another FM Annemarie having the same problem, seems strange they are both A's but could have something to do with it..

Hmmm.... I don't show an AnneMarie. Specific user name? I'd be happy to email her if I knew. Smiler
