In fairness, they have said there are teething problems getting LiveCloud up-and-running and I'm sure when this forum is eventually migrated into LiveCloud, things will be running much more smoothly ... We've been given enough notice and I don't really see what all the fuss is about ...

The fuss is about the format of THIS forum changing to the Format of LIVECLOUD's Forums. .which are rubbish and not user friendly like these ones.. which will NOT exist in this Format AFTER we are moved over.. if you read what Rosemary and Steve et al have said...

Possibly testing it a little more thoroughly first. There are two separate issues here. One is the format which you may, or may not like the other is clearly that it has easy to spot bugs. Any beta issue web based application should be raced and rallied with a minimum of IE6,7, Chrome, Firefox 2 and 3, Opera and Safari before going live

I've just posted in that thread - my first post - what a PALAVER!!!!!! A load of HTML appeared at the top of the post initially plus it appeared to have failed AND no sig either even tho I set hat up to appear in all replies.

I have been over there olly and can handle the teething problems with errors etc, but it will be a whole different format to here..I thought when we came here just over 3 months ago, that this would stay here

that's the main problem Bagel the format. .it is really ahrd to negotiate around. .

simple things like clicking ont he last post in a thread are not available over there

or getting to the bottom of a thread and having to scroll all the way to the top to get out again..


or quoting someone and lots more...

plus the 'teething' problems of the new Forum format on top...

as Zaph said it's more like a comment/blog type format and is dreadful... I just don't see the reason for the change. .if we are logging on here via LiveCloud, but here is still here, if you know what I mean, why move it and change it to something different?

Basically most of us are not bothered about the rest of the stuff that LiveCloud has to offer. .sorry to say that, but most of us have enough going on in the way of social network places without adding even more.. we just want this and the other forums to visit and chat BB or non BB stuff...

Maybe we should just all go back to our stop off place before here. .The Eve Support Forum
