James has gone out of his way to make us feel welcome on LC ... it's a new experience for him btw ... and this thread was intended as a bit of fun ...
Shar, don't want to argue with you or anything but sadly when I read the first comment it put my back up slightly, and I have posted in the sinking ship and do spend time over there as well, but I really enjoy my time here. Perhaps James could have considered his wording in the opening post just a little, I'm sure for the people who know him, they have a good idea that he did not mean what he said, but just to appear here and make a comment like that, was going to upset and annoy some posters.

Hi pinkbabe ... TBH I think there is a tendency on here to take affront at the drop of a hat ... I hear what you're saying, but I really don't see how anyone could realistically have taken affront at what James posted ... It was meant in a spirit of fun (check the Sinking Ship group on LC to verify that) and most people I think took it as that ...

Yeah, although you may not think it, agree with that, at least if you try and find it's not for you, then you know. Some parts I like, some I don't and some I just don't get at all, but when we move over and we have recognisable threats to post in, there may not be the same comfusion. At the moment though, some things are not working as well as they should, and it is confusing so that may be what puts some off.

The good things is though chappingtons, the powers that be over there are willing to listen to our gripes and suggestions. It's a fait a complit we're transferring, but at least they're willing to hear us.

TBH I have and even though I did find it slightly over the top the comment, but best to agree to disagree over it all, though I have to say, I don't usually take affront to anything anyone posts, even if I disagree with them, I was a little taken aback by the wording of the post, but hey, it wouldn't be a good place if we all agreed would it!! We all have to stick together and make LiveCloud the lively welcoming forum that this one is that people enjoy spending time on talking to each other.

Pinkbabe it was a joke honest. James isn't a forum user... he originates from a very different kind of site. This all stemmed from him making a comment on LC about not posting here because Gaga was too complicated to use. It made me laugh because of the problems people have had going from here to there. It just seemed to highlight that sometimes it is change that is the real hardship not the technicalities.

James is a lovely fella.
I get as lost as a lost person can get over on LC. But what the heck. It's all a learning curve; you just have to dive in.
I can't judge it properly until the forum moves over there properly. I just hope we all manage to mill around together like we do on here.
