Caught the first two....is it safe to discuss?

Goodness knows - why was Desmond on the plane at all? And why was Hurley "always lucky" - originally he was hexed by those numbers wasn't he?

And I'm liking this mature Boone ... he was a little baby faced for me first time around. Did you catch him the The Vampire Diaries Croc?

It's a little Twilight meets Beverly Hills 90210  but I'm told it improves when Boone (he plays bad vampire Damon) gets into his stride. I've also read the books are very different from the TV series (but that goes for Trueblood too, which is more my taste tbh).

And anyone shrieking that whoever wrote the books stole ideas from Stephanie Meyer - these books were written ten years before she published Twilight. 

Maybe the things that have changed are the ones that the island has affected. Hurley's numbers were a link weren't they?

I'm loving that this series has started, but hating it's the last...    I was confused so much on Friday, but that's all part of why I'm so gripped by it..   How come Desmond was on the plane this time, when he clearly was living in the station doing those numbers??.. or was he??.. and what year were the plane scenes with him in???>.. Sooo many q's!!!.. 

That's what my daughter thinks Croc... she also believes there's some religeous theme gonna spring up at the end, I just wanna keep an open and curious mind till that time comes...  

I'm thinking alternative reality too...which would explain why Desmond might be on the plane if he was "called" to the island originally. Of course Jack would have deja vu as they met at that football stadium didn't they which was not island connected as far as we know. Also explain why Boone was there but not his sister...

One question - that taxi driver with Kate and Claire. Has he been on Lost before? His face was very familiar.

I'm remembering the pilot of flight 815 was Matt from Heroes. Is this all Sylar's fault?
